Exchanging a personal certificate
Further to the UK exit from the EU on 31st January 2020 we can now clarify the following interim measures to be adopted where Engineer's certification is concerned.
Up until 31st December 2020 certificates issued by UK certification bodies will continue to be recognised and will remain valid.
During this period an engineer may obtain an EU recognised certificate through the exchange process currently in operation via the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
To obtain a certificate you will need to log on to the EPA website (www.epa.ie) and complete the registration process
Note: You will need to have a Pdf copy of your UK certificate ready to upload during the application process.
The exchange certificate process will cease as of 23.00 hours on 31st December 2020.
As a point of interest please be advised that Company exchange certificates are no longer available.
